Origin TCM | Yin Deficiency Constitution (阴虚体质)
Yin Deficiency refers to a lack of Yin fluids in the body (such as blood and body fluids), leading to insufficient nourishment and moistening of organs and tissues. It commonly presents with signs of internal heat, such as dry mouth, flushed cheeks, and night sweats.
【常见原因】
1. 先天不足,遗传因素或母体健康状况不佳。
2. 后天失养,长期营养不足或饮食失衡。
3. 情志因素,长期精神紧张、焦虑或抑郁。
4. 疾病影响,慢性病或大病后的体虚。
5. 劳累过度,过度劳累或熬夜,消耗体内阴液。

Congenital deficiency – Genetic factors or poor maternal health

【外形特征】
1. 面色潮红,或两颧泛红。
2. 体型消瘦,肌肉较为干瘦。
3. 皮肤干燥,缺乏光泽。

Flushed cheeks or facial redness, especially around the cheekbones
Thin body frame, with lean and dry muscles
Dry skin, lacking luster
【症状】
1. 五心烦热,即手心、脚心和胸口发热。
2. 口干咽燥,特别是夜间口干,需频繁饮水。
3. 盗汗,夜间出汗多。
4. 头晕耳鸣,感到头重脚轻,耳鸣。
5. 失眠,入睡困难,多梦易醒。
[Symptoms]
Five-center heat – Warm sensation in palms, soles, and chest
Dry mouth and throat, especially at night, requiring frequent water
Night sweats – Sweating during sleep
Dizziness and tinnitus – Feeling lightheaded or experiencing ringing in the ears
Insomnia – Difficulty falling asleep, frequent dreams, or easy waking
阴虚主要影响肺、肾、肝三脏。
肺阴虚:干咳少痰,声音嘶哑。
肾阴虚:腰膝酸软,头晕耳鸣,性功能减退。
肝阴虚:目干涩,视力模糊,情绪易怒。
Organs Most Affected by Yin Deficiency:
Lung Yin Deficiency: Dry cough with little phlegm, hoarse voice
Kidney Yin Deficiency: Weak lower back and knees, dizziness, reduced sexual function

脉象和舌象
脉象:脉细数。
舌象:舌红少苔,或无苔,舌质偏干。
