刮痧 Guasha
Origin TCM uses a scraping board to repeatedly scrape specific meridians and acupoints on the skin with moderate pressure to stimulate and promote local blood circulation, help expel dampness, heat and cold from the body, improve microcirculation, thereby relieving pain and enhancing immunity.
Choose appropriate meridians and acupoints according to different symptoms and patient constitutions, and use appropriate strength of manipulation.
Gua Sha combined with moxibustion and oral Chinese medicine - a two-pronged approach of "nourishing the inside and soothing the outside" to improve the overall therapeutic effect.
Gua Sha is quick and non-invasive , and you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment.
Gua Sha emphasizes that “if the meridians are unblocked, there will be no pain” - by unblocking the meridians and improving microcirculation, the root cause of the disease is eliminated.
